Similarities ? : Hohnbeer-Tutti Men

Who knows the story behind "Hohnbeer" (Hahnenbier) ?

Tutti Frutti in Hungerford

An ancient tradition that once took place across the UK is now only remembered in the town of Hungerford. Tutti Day or Hock Tide takes place every year on the second Tuesday after Easter, when Tuttimen demand kisses and coins in return for oranges.

This year, Tutti Day, also known as Hock Tide or Hock Tuesday, fell on April 21.

During the day, two Tuttimen from Hungerford donned their top hats and morning dresses and set off to collect dues from each inhabitant - a coin from the men and a kiss from the women in return for an orange.

Children from John O' Gaunt School also joined in the celebrations on Tutti Day
